The Monroe Central Golden Bears defeated the visiting Hagerstown Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 64-56 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Golden Bears clash with the Frankton Eagles (Frankton, IN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, December 28. Monroe Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record.

The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their outing against Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN). The Mustangs come into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Fountain Central overcame Attica (Attica, IN), 51-22, in a league outing.
