December 21, 2024: Rugby, ND 58368 Rugby Panthers (Rugby, ND) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Harvey/Fessenden-Bowdon Hornets (Harvey, ND), 55-52 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Rugby advances its record to 2-1 on the year. The Panthers host Beulah (Beulah, ND) to meet the Goldiggers in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Goldiggers enter the match with a record of 1-2. Beulah won 62-38 in their recent non-league match against Turtle Mountain (Belcourt, ND)
The Hornets now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Berthold for a B District 6 test on Friday, January 31.
