December 21, 2024: Portland, OR 97229 The Sunset Apollos (Portland, OR) basketball edged the visiting Ida B. Wells Guardians (Portland, OR), 54-47 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Apollos now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Tigard for a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. Sunset will play a Tigers team coming off a 71-59 non-league win over Glencoe (Hillsboro, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Ida B. Wells falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Guardians travel to South Salem (Salem, OR) to play the Saxons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 28. The Saxons go into the bout with a record of 5-3. South Salem lost 64-39 in their recent non-league bout against West Albany (Albany, OR)
