Hawaii High School Basketball - Island routs Kihei Charter
December 21, 2024: Lihue, HI 96766 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Island basketball team scored a big 66-29 triumph over the Kihei Charter Tigersharks.
The (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Kapa'a (Kapa'a, HI). The Warriors go into the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Kapa'a was trounced by Punahou (Honolulu, HI), 57-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Tigersharks battle the Molokai Farmers (Hoolehua, HI) in a Maui II contest, on Friday, January 3. Kihei Charter will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Farmers go into the contest with a 3-3 record after their 83-20 non-league loss to Punahou (Honolulu, HI).
