December 21, 2024: Wayne, NJ 07470 Wayne Hills Patriots (Wayne, NJ) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Kennedy Knights (Paterson, NJ), 62-53 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Wayne Hills advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Patriots host Montville (Montville, NJ) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Monday, December 23. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 2-1. Montville lost 91-63 in their recent non-league match against Chatham (Chatham, NJ)
The Knights now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saddle River Day for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Kennedy will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 84-59 non-league loss to Bergen Catholic (Oradell, NJ). The Rebels record now stands at 1-1.
