In Saturday's non-league test, the Laramie Plainsmen (Laramie, WY) basketball squad defeated the host Las Vegas Wildcats (Las Vegas, NV), by a final score of 71-53.

Next, the Plainsmen clash with the Rock Springs TIGERS (Rock Springs, WY) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 9. Laramie will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The TIGERS come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 59-53 non-league win over Hot Springs County (Thermopolis, WY).

The Wildcats (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Sports Leadership & Management (Henderson, NV). The Bulls come into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Sports Leadership & Management went down by Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 89-70, in a non-league test.
