The Overland Trailblazers basketball squad (Aurora, CO), was nudged 70-69 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ)

With the victory, Liberty advances its record to 8-1 on the year. The Lions travel to Crespi (Encino, CA) to meet the Celts in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 26. The Celts enter the battle with a record of 9-4. Crespi won 64-43 in their recent non-league battle against Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks, CA)

The Trailblazers now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broomfield for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 4. Overland will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 70-65 non-league loss to Arapahoe (Centennial, CO). The Eagles record now stands at 4-4.
