December 21, 2024: Memphis, TN 38114 Wilson Central Wildcats (Lebanon, TN) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Melrose Golden Wildcats (Memphis, TN), 65-34 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Wilson Central advances its record to 8-3 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Hillwood (Nashville, TN) to face the Hilltoppers in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Hilltoppers enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Golden Wildcats now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Booker T. Washington for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 7. Melrose will face a Warriors squad coming off a 45-33 league loss to Middle College (Memphis, TN). The Warriors record now stands at 0-6.
