December 21, 2024: Midland, TX 79705 Midland Classical Academy Knights (Midland, TX) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Sands Mustangs (Ackerly, TX), 59-39 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Midland Classical Academy advances its record to 4-11 on the year. The Knights travel to Trinity (Midland, TX) to face the Chargers in a TAPPS 4A District 1 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 0-6. Trinity lost 98-50 in their recent non-league match against Denver City (Denver City, TX)
The Mustangs now own a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Garden City for a non-league match on Monday, December 30. Sands will face a Bearkats squad coming off a 51-35 league loss to Veribest (Veribest, TX). The Bearkats record now stands at 2-10.
