Alabama High School Basketball - Mortimer Jordan holds off Orange Beach
December 21, 2024: Orange Beach, AL 36561 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Mortimer Jordan Blue Devils basketball team scored a close 47-41 triumph over the Orange Beach Makos.
The Blue Devils (6-11) will now prepare for their contest against Gardendale (Gardendale, AL). The Rockets go into the non-league contest with a 4-9 record.
In their next game, the Makos confront the Oak Forest Academy Yellowjackets (Amite, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 27. Orange Beach will attempt to better on its 8-9 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 13-2 record after their 74-46 non-league win over Humphreys County (Belzoni, MS).
