December 21, 2024: Vermillion, SD 57069 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Vermillion Tanagers (Vermillion, SD) and the visiting Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans (Mt. Vernon, SD), observed Vermillion's basketball team overwhelm Mt. Vernon/Plankinton by a score of 72-39.
The Tanagers (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Tri-Valley (Colton, SD). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record.
In their next game, the Titans encounter the Sanborn Central/Woonsocket Rebels (Forestburg, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Mt. Vernon/Plankinton will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
