In Saturday's non-league test, the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad trounced the host North Hills Christian Eagles (Salisbury, NC), by a score of 92-54.

Next, the Wildcats encounter the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) in a 1A Metro 8 test, on Friday, January 3. Sugar Creek Charter will attempt to improve on its 9-2 season record. The Patriots come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 60-55 non-league loss to Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC).
