Arizona High School Basketball - Pahrump Valley thwarts River Valley

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Pahrump Valley Trojans (Pahrump, NV) and the host River Valley Dust Devils (Mohave Valley, AZ), observed Pahrump Valley's basketball team knock off River Valley by a score of 56-42.

The Trojans (3-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Virgin Valley prevailed over Fernley (Fernley, NV), 54-36, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Dust Devils encounter the Kingman Bulldogs (Kingman, AZ) in a 3A West challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. River Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 1-8 record after their 71-41 non-league win over Monument Valley (Monument Valley, UT).
