In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Ponderosa Mustangs basketball team scored a good 53-36 triumph over the Palisade Bulldogs.

The Mustangs (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Pueblo County (Pueblo, CO). The Hornets enter the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Pueblo County lost by Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO), 64-62, in a non-league battle.

The Bulldogs now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Delta for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 7. Palisade will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 60-58 non-league loss to Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.
