Hawaii High School Basketball - West Anchorage sneaks past Pearl City
December 21, 2024: Pearl City, HI 96782 The West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) basketball edged the host Pearl City Chargers (Pearl City, HI), 46-42 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Maryknoll for a non-league bout on Monday, December 23. West Anchorage will play a Spartans team coming off a 70-32 non-league win over Konawaena (Kealakekua, HI). The Spartans record now stands at 12-2.
With the loss, Pearl City falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to 'Aiea ('Aiea, HI) to play the Na Alii in a Oahu - West I bout on Friday, December 27. The Na Alii go into the bout with a record of 7-3. 'Aiea won 74-34 in their recent league bout against Wai'anae (Wai'anae, HI)
