The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the South Bend Riley Wildcats (South Bend, IN) and the host Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI), observed South Bend Riley's basketball team overcome Portage Central by a margin of 68-53.

The Wildcats (6-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Park Tudor (Indianapolis, IN). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Park Tudor defeated Indianapolis Scecina Memorial (Indianapolis, IN), 56-43, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Holt Rams (Holt, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Portage Central will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 68-57 league win over Everett (Lansing, MI).
