In Saturday's non-league test, the Powell County Wardens (Deer Lodge, MT) basketball squad knocked off the visiting St. Ignatius Bulldogs (St. Ignatius, MT), by a score of 49-41.

Next, the Wardens clash with the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks (Thompson Falls, MT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 4. Powell County will attempt to improve on its 4-0 season record. The Blue Hawks come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 64-50 non-league win over Anaconda (Anaconda, MT).

The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Thompson Falls (Thompson Falls, MT). The Blue Hawks come into the B District 7 test with a 3-2 record.
