California High School Basketball - Rainier Beach victorious over Westchester
December 21, 2024: Los Angeles, CA 90045 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Rainier Beach Vikings basketball team scored a good 82-74 triumph over the Westchester Comets.
The Vikings (8-2) will now prepare for their contest against Garfield (Seattle, WA). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Metro contest with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Garfield prevailed over Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA), 80-63, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Comets encounter the Green Level Gators (Cary, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Westchester will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 68-54 non-league win over Broughton (Raleigh, NC).
