Oregon High School Basketball - Ridgeview thwarts South Albany
December 21, 2024: Redmond, OR 97756 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ridgeview Ravens (Redmond, OR) and the visiting South Albany Redhawks (Albany, OR), observed Ridgeview's basketball team knock off South Albany by a score of 72-53.
The Ravens (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Woodburn (Woodburn, OR). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Woodburn was knocked off by South Salem (Salem, OR), 77-65, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Redhawks encounter the Central Panthers (Independence, OR) in a 5A Mid-Willamette challenge, on Friday, January 3. South Albany will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 54-44 non-league loss to Parkrose (Portland, OR).
