Tennessee High School Basketball - White County thwarts Bearden
December 21, 2024: Sparta, TN 38583 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the White County Warriors (Sparta, TN) and the visiting Bearden Bulldogs (Knoxville, TN), observed White County's basketball team knock off Bearden by a score of 73-64.
The Warriors (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Cardinals come into the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Wayne County was knocked off by Corbin (Corbin, KY), 58-53, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Cresset Christian Academy Eagles (Durham, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 4. Bearden will attempt to improve on its 10-1 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 13-2 record after their 52-31 non-league loss to Winston Salem Christian National (Winston-Salem, NC).
