In Saturday's non-league test, the Burns Hilanders (Burns, OR) basketball squad trounced the visiting Lakeview Honkers (Lakeview, OR), by a score of 46-18.

Next, the Hilanders encounter the Grant Union Prospectors (John Day, OR) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 3. Burns will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Prospectors come into the test with a 6-3 record after their 51-46 non-league loss to Adrian (Adrian, OR).
