Iowa High School Basketball - Waverly-Shell Rock holds off Caledonia
December 21, 2024: Waverly, IA 50677 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Waverly-Shell Rock Go-Hawks basketball team scored a close 49-42 triumph over the Caledonia Warriors.
The Go-Hawks (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA). The Stormin' Pointers go into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Center Point-Urbana nipped Solon (Solon, IA), 58-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors confront the West Salem Panthers (West Salem, WI) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 28. Caledonia will attempt to better on its 10-1 season record.
