December 21, 2024: Eugene, OR 97402 Clovis West Golden Eagles (Fresno, CA) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Willamette Wolverines (Eugene, OR), 62-53 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Clovis West advances its record to 11-0 on the year. The Golden Eagles travel to Democracy Prep Agassi Campus (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Blue Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. The Blue Knights enter the match with a record of 8-1. Democracy Prep Agassi Campus lost 75-47 in their recent non-league match against Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA)
The Wolverines now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host McMinnville for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Willamette will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 76-29 non-league loss to South Medford (Medford, OR). The Grizzlies record now stands at 1-4.
