New Mexico High School Basketball - Gallup overwhelms Pojoaque Valley
December 21, 2024: Pojoaque, NM 87506 The Gallup Bengals basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Pojoaque Valley Elks/Elkettes to 24 in the Bengals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Bengals now possess a 9-0 record. They play next when they host Espanola Valley for a non-league game on Friday, December 27. Gallup will play a Sundevils team coming off a 48-31 non-league loss to Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Sundevils record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Pojoaque Valley falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Elks/elkettes travel to Clovis (Clovis, NM) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Friday, January 3. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 9-3.
