The Greene County Wildcats (Leakesville, MS) basketball edged the visiting Presbyterian Christian Bobcats (Hattiesburg, MS), 58-52 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Bay for a 4A Region 8 bout on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, Presbyterian Christian falls to 13-4 on the campaign. The Bobcats travel to East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, December 27. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 18-1.
