Illinois High School Basketball - Marist nudges Lockport
December 21, 2024: Lockport, IL 60441 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) and the host Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL), observed Marist's basketball team edge Lockport by a score of 59-54.
The RedHawks (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis (Wheaton, IL). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 2-7 record. In their last challenge, St. Francis was tipped by IC Catholic Prep (Elmhurst, IL), 39-38, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Porters encounter the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 23. Lockport will attempt to improve on its 13-2 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 6-6 record after their 47-42 league win over Barrington (Barrington, IL).
