New Jersey High School Basketball - Shore Regional victorious over Long Branch

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Shore Regional Blue Devils basketball team scored a good 53-41 triumph over the Long Branch Green Wave.

The Blue Devils (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Regional (Manahawkin, NJ). The Rams go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Southern Regional was topped by Shawnee (Medford, NJ), 49-31, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Green Wave confront the Pinelands Regional Wildcats (Tuckerton, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. Long Branch will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 2-1 record after their 39-25 league win over Liberty (Jackson, NJ).
