New York High School Basketball - Summit Academy toppled by Queens Metro

December 21, 2024: Forest Hills, NY

Queens Metro (Forest Hills, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Summit Academy Eagles (Brooklyn, NY), 45-35 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Queens Metro upgrades its record to 1-0 on the year. The travel to Shenendehowa (Clifton Park, NY) to face the Plainsmen in a non-league match on Sunday, December 29. The Plainsmen enter the match with a record of 3-1.

The Eagles now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Irving for a non-league match on Friday, December 27. Summit Academy will face a squad coming off a 44-36 league loss to Stuyvesant (New York, NY). The record now stands at 4-1.
