Georgia High School Basketball - Trinity Christian bested by Piedmont Academy
December 21, 2024: Monticello, GA 31064 Piedmont Academy Cougars (Monticello, GA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Trinity Christian Crusaders (Dublin, GA), 78-67 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Piedmont Academy advances its record to 7-2 on the year. The Cougars travel to Robert Toombs Christian Academy (Lyons, GA) to meet the Crusaders in a non-league match on Friday, December 27. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 7-3. Robert Toombs Christian Academy won 54-34 in their recent non-league match against Southland Academy (Americus, GA)
The Crusaders now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host John Milledge Academy for a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. Trinity Christian will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 60-42 non-league loss to Central Fellowship Christian Academy (Macon, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 4-4.
