Oregon High School Basketball - Powers bests South Wasco County
December 21, 2024: Powers, OR 97466 The Powers Cruisers basketball team scored 54 points and limited the visiting South Wasco County Redsides to 36 in the Cruisers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cruisers now possess a 3-5 record. They play next when they host Toledo for a non-league game on Thursday, December 26. Powers will confront a Boomers team coming off a 32-24 non-league win over Siuslaw (Florence, OR). The Boomers record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, South Wasco County falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Redsides travel to Country Christian (Molalla, OR) to confront the Cougars in a non-league game on Friday, December 27. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 6-0. Country Christian won 44-22 in their recent non-league game against Vernonia (Vernonia, OR)
