Maine High School Basketball - Spruce Mountain victorious over Yarmouth
December 21, 2024: Yarmouth, ME 04096 In Saturday's league contest, the visiting Spruce Mountain Phoenix basketball team scored a good 40-24 triumph over the Yarmouth Clippers.
The Phoenix (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME). The Seahawks go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Boothbay topped Waynflete (Portland, ME), 42-22, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Clippers battle the Oceanside Mariners (Rockland, ME) in a B South contest, on Friday, December 27. Yarmouth will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Mariners go into the contest with a 2-2 record after their 67-45 non-league win over Brewer (Brewer, ME).
