Louisiana High School Soccer - Buckeye toppled by St. Charles Catholic
December 21, 2024: LaPlace, LA 70068 St. Charles Catholic Comets (LaPlace, LA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Buckeye Panthers (Buckeye, LA), 8-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, St. Charles Catholic moves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Comets host South Beauregard (Longville, LA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Saturday, December 21. The Knights come into the test with a record of 7-3. South Beauregard 1-1 in their recent non-league test against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA)
The Panthers now sport a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grace Christian for a non-league test on Thursday, January 2. Buckeye will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over Rapides (Lecompte, LA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-5.
