With the victory, Placer upgrades its record to 6-5 on the year. The Hillmen travel to Chico (Chico, CA) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Thursday, January 2. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 10-5. Chico won 42-41 in their recent non-league match against West Valley (Cottonwood, CA)
The Cougars now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buhach Colony for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. El Dorado will face a Thunder squad coming off a 51-39 non-league loss to Placer (Auburn, CA). The Thunder record now stands at 0-4.
