California High School Soccer - St. Ignatius College Preparatory nudges Santa Clara
December 21, 2024: Santa Clara, CA 95051 Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA) and the host Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA), saw St. Ignatius College Preparatory's soccer squad hold off Santa Clara by a count of 2-1.
The Wildcats (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Warriors enter the West Catholic battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Valley Christian tipped Scotts Valley (Scotts Valley, CA), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bruins battle the Homestead Mustangs (Cupertino, CA) in a Santa Clara Valley - De Anza battle, on Friday, January 3. Santa Clara will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the battle with a 1-3 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Willow Glen (San Jose, CA).
