Ohio High School Basketball - Paulding ripped by Van Wert
December 22, 2009: Van Wert, OH 45891 The Van Wert Cougars basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Paulding Panthers to 39 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. John's for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 30. Van Wert will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 68-35 non-league win over Wapakoneta (Wapakoneta, OH). The Bluejays record now stands at 1-0.
The Panthers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Hicksville (Hicksville, OH). The Aces enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Hicksville was routed by Continental (Continental, OH), 68-41, in a non-league contest.
