Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Berwick nips Central Columbia
December 22, 2021: Berwick, PA 18603 Berwick Bulldogs (Berwick, PA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Central Columbia Bluejays (Bloomsburg, PA), 37-34 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Berwick upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Dallas (Dallas, PA) to play the Mountaineers in a Wyoming Valley 1 bout on Tuesday, December 28. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Dallas lost 75-69 in their recent non-league bout against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA)
Next up, the Bluejays play the Midd-West Mustangs (Middleburg, PA) in a Heartland II bout, on Tuesday, December 28. Central Columbia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 68-46 league loss to Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA).
