The Bishop Canevin Crusaders (Pittsburgh, PA) basketball crushed the host South Allegheny Gladiators (McKeesport, PA), 78-51 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Crusaders (1-2) will now prepare for their test against St. Joseph (Natrona Heights, PA). The Spartans go into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, St. Joseph walloped Springdale (Springdale, PA), 57-27, in a non-league test.

The Gladiators now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Steel Valley for a WPIAL 3A 3 test on Monday, January 3. South Allegheny will encounter a Ironmen squad coming off a 57-40 non-league loss to Taylor Allderdice (Pittsburgh, PA). The Ironmen record now stands at 2-2.
