December 22, 2021: Eureka, IL 61530 The Eureka Hornets basketball team (Eureka, IL), was nudged 32-30 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Putnam County Panthers (Granville, IL)
The Panthers now possess a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roanoke-Benson for a Tri-County battle on Thursday, January 6.
The Hornets (12-5) will now prepare for their battle against LeRoy (LeRoy, IL). The Panthers come into the Heart Of Illinois battle with a 6-11 record. In their last battle, LeRoy was nudged by Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL), 39-33, in a non-league battle.
