Illinois High School Basketball - Fieldcrest overwhelms Princeton
December 22, 2021: Princeton, IL 61356 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Fieldcrest Knights (Minonk, IL) and the host Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL), saw Fieldcrest's basketball squad wallop Princeton by a tally of 57-25.
With the victory, Fieldcrest improves its record to 17-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Dwight (Dwight, IL) to confront the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Monday, January 3. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 3-12. Dwight lost 36-20 in their recent league challenge against Midland (Varna, IL)
Next up, the Tigers confront the Bureau Valley Storm (Manlius, IL) in a Three Rivers - East challenge, on Monday, January 3. Princeton will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record.
