The Hoggard Vikings topped the host North Lenoir Hawks basketball team by a final score of 57-39 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, December 28. Hoggard will attempt to move on its 8-1 season record. The Nighthawks enter the game with a 8-0 record after their 58-26 league win over Southwest Guilford (High Point, NC).

With the defeat, North Lenoir moves to 8-3 on the year. The Hawks host Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC) to face the Stallions in a 2A Conference 6 game on Tuesday, January 4.
