California High School Soccer - Newbury Park knocks off Sylmar
December 22, 2021: Sylmar, CA 91342 Newbury Park Panthers (Newbury Park, CA) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Thousand Oaks Lancers (Thousand Oaks, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 22. Newbury Park will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over La Salle (Pasadena, CA).
The Spartans now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host Van Nuys for a Valley Mission challenge on Wednesday, January 12. Sylmar will confront a Wolves team coming off a 4-0 league loss to Reseda (Reseda, CA). The Wolves record now stands at 2-7.
