December 22, 2022: San Diego, CA 92117 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Escondido Cougars (Escondido, CA), saw Clairemont's basketball squad overcome Escondido by a tally of 50-40.
With the victory, Clairemont improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to O'Farrell Charter (San Diego, CA) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, January 4. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. O'Farrell Charter lost 55-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Rock Academy (San Diego, CA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Sonora Raiders (La Habra, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 27. Escondido will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 10-4 record after their 62-49 non-league win over La Serna (Whittier, CA).
