California High School Basketball - Hoover tops Coronado
December 22, 2022: San Diego, CA 92115 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Hoover Cardinals (San Diego, CA) and the visiting Coronado Islanders (Coronado, CA), saw Hoover's basketball squad knock off Coronado by a tally of 87-70.
With the victory, Hoover improves its record to 6-4 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Mater Dei Catholic (Chula Vista, CA) to play the Crusaders in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 23. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 9-2. Mater Dei Catholic won 85-41 in their recent non-league challenge against Valhalla (El Cajon, CA)
Next up, the Islanders play the Casa Roble Rams (Orangevale, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 27. Coronado will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 48-33 non-league win over Sutter (Sutter, CA).
