December 22, 2022: Delcambre, LA 70528 The Delcambre Panthers basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays to 46 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Panthers now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Catholic - N.I. for a 2A District 8 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Delcambre will battle a Panthers team coming off a 51-44 non-league loss to Central Private (Baker, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-2.
The Fighting Blue Jays (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Central Private (Baker, LA). The Redhawks come into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Central Private prevailed over Catholic - N.I. (New Iberia, LA), 51-44, in a non-league contest.
