North Carolina High School Basketball - West Stokes overwhelms Forbush
December 22, 2022: East Bend, NC 27018 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Stokes Wildcats (King, NC) and the host Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC), saw West Stokes's basketball squad wallop Forbush by a tally of 77-21.
With the victory, West Stokes improves its record to 4-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to North Surry (Mount Airy, NC) to confront the Greyhounds in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 28. The Greyhounds come into the challenge with a record of 9-1. North Surry lost 79-74 in their recent non-league challenge against Mount Tabor (Winston-Salem, NC)
Next up, the Falcons confront the Watauga Pioneers (Boone, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 28. Forbush will attempt to improve on its 1-10 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 61-40 non-league win over T.C. Roberson (Asheville, NC).
