Ohio High School Basketball - Wauseon nudges Genoa Area
December 22, 2022: Genoa, OH 43430 Wauseon Indians (Wauseon, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH), 59-52 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Wauseon upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Indians travel to Paulding (Paulding, OH) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 29. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Paulding lost 47-34 in their recent non-league bout against Cardinal Stritch (Oregon, OH)
Next up, the Comets clash with the Old Fort Stockaders (Old Fort, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Genoa Area will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Stockaders enter the game with a 6-0 record after their 71-23 league win over Gibsonburg (Gibsonburg, OH).
