California High School Basketball - Miramonte thwarts Rancho Cotate

The Miramonte Matadors (Orinda, CA) basketball knocked off the host Rancho Cotate Cougars (Rohnert Park, CA), 50-35 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Matadors (4-5) will now prepare for their test against Mills (Millbrae, CA). The Vikings go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Mills went down by Westmoor (Daly City, CA), 54-47, in a non-league test.

The Cougars now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Elsie Allen for a North Bay - Redwood test on Tuesday, January 3. Rancho Cotate will encounter a Lobos squad coming off a 83-44 non-league loss to Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA). The Lobos record now stands at 6-7.
