Massachusetts High School Basketball - Norwood nips Walpole
December 22, 2022: Norwood, MA 02062 Norwood Mustangs (Norwood, MA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Walpole Timberwolves (Walpole, MA), 77-73 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Norwood upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Roxbury Latin (West Roxbury, MA) to play the Foxes in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Foxes come into the bout with a record of 1-0.
Next up, the Timberwolves play the Millbury Woolies (Millbury, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Walpole will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Woolies come into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 48-38 non-league loss to Prouty (Spencer, MA).
