Pinson Valley Indians (Pinson, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), 76-75 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pinson Valley upgrades its record to 13-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Grovetown (Grovetown, GA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 31. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Grovetown lost 64-61 in their recent non-league bout against Jones County (Gray, GA)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Westlake Lions (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Sandy Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 8-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 75-74 non-league loss to Fayette County (Fayetteville, GA).
