December 22, 2022: Wayne, NJ 07470 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Academy of the Holy Angels Angels (Demarest, NJ) and the host Wayne Valley Indians (Wayne, NJ), saw Academy of the Holy Angels's basketball squad hold off Wayne Valley by a tally of 40-34.
With the victory, Academy of the Holy Angels improves its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Angels host River Dell (Oradell, NJ) to confront the Golden Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 26. The Golden Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-1.
Next up, the Indians confront the Jefferson Township Falcons (Oak Ridge, NJ) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 27. Wayne Valley will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Falcons go into the outing with a 1-1 record after their 58-46 league win over High Point (Sussex, NJ).
